View our sizing guide for specifics, or call our team for a chat about your needs. A quick reference guide is:

  • 2m3 to 6m3 skips and bins are ideal for small streets and home clean ups
  • 12m3 to 15m3 are ideal for build sites
  • 23m3 to 31m3 are ideal for factories

This will depend on the skip bin you choose. Smaller bins may have a weight limit on them to allow them to be lifted. Larger skip bins may have weight restrictions to allow for safe transport while on the road.

For the most part, mixing general waste and recycling will not incur extra charges. However, please note Kartaway does not accept any liquids, chemicals, asbestos, hazardous goods, or food waste in any of our skip bins. And tyres and mattresses are an additional charge on top of the bin hire charge.

Kartaway will separate your waste to remove any product that is recyclable or can be diverted from landfill.

Don’t fill beyond the rim of the bin so it can be safely transported and complies with any local restrictions and road laws.

If you need to extend the time beyond your pick-up day, give us a call to extend the duration for a reasonable time.

Once collected we take the rubbish, we transport it back to our transfer stations to separate out all recyclable waste so we can divert these products from landfill. Any left-over product is sent to legal landfill facilities.

No, we are unable to deliver or collect bins on Sunday as our office is closed. But if you book early enough, we can deliver on a Saturday morning and pick up on Monday, subject to demand, so book early to lock in.

The skip bin will be placed on your private land where possible, such as your driveway or front yard. If you are placing the skip on public land, you will likely need a permit from your local council.

We accept card payments via phone.

Check with your local council for rules in your area, however most councils require a permit if the skip bin is being placed on public land such as the curb or on the street. Kartaway can assist you with this.
